New Badger Region Tryout Dates
Please see our tryout page for a link to the new tryout guidelines voted on and approved by the Badger Region in November of 2023. Southwest was not in favor of the new summer tryouts, but is working now to navigate this new procedure the best we can for athletes, families, coaches, and the club.
Southwest will host both summer and fall tryouts. A date and facility is still being finalized for those. The summer tryout window will be between July 20-28 and be released as soon as we have that.
The Badger Region partnered with the Side-Out Foundation to raise funds to support research for patients with metastatic breast cancer. Southwest contributed to their fundraising efforts with a Dig Pink clothing fundraiser and also by setting up a donation page. Thank you for your generous support of this effort! We were one of the top 3 fundraising clubs in the region!

*Our teams all travel regionally throughout the year. Our National teams are simply teams that we anticipate attending AAU Nationals in Orlando in June

Club Mission
To provide young athletes with a positive and rewarding volleyball experience, with quality coaching at an affordable price, while allowing them to participate in school sports or activities.
Club History
Our club started in 1992 to offer quality coaching at a reasonable price to players in the southwest Milwaukee area. There was, and still is a need for a quality volleyball club in our area that people can afford and doesn't require an eight-month season. We feel that we have provided this and have since grown into one of the largest volleyball clubs in Wisconsin, with options for shorter seasons and also teams that attend nationals in the summer. Offerings include co-ed youth clubs, middle school clinics, and girls teams from 12s-18s, in addition to many holiday/summer camps and private/small group lessons. In 2013, Southwest Volleyball Club opened its own two-court practice facility in Waukesha. This practice site enables us to have complete control of practice times and training sessions.
